cargo247 Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 system will not boot up ,i had 1G of valuesselect ram and wanted to see what 2 G would do, now system will not boot. i have a asus p5rd1-v mobo 2 80g seagate hd raded i am using on board viedo right now till i get a pcie card any ideas
Jabberwok Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 Try with 3 DIMMs (1.5Gb) just to make sure this is not a chipset limitation first.

Thanks for the reply i took the computer in to the repair shop and they found that one stick was bad, they tested all system parts and all is well now. i will send in the stick for replacement thanks
