el_suiram
I have this configuration: P4IBASD (v. 3.0) motherboard & Corsair VS 1GB KIT400 memory, and I have this problem: when I start the system for the first time it says that I have just 786 MB RAM. After a restart I have about 916 MB and only after the another restart it says that I have 1 GB of memory. Excepting this the system works fine. I updated my BIOS with the latest version possible, but the problem persists. Has anyone the same problem? Is there a solution?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted July 19, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted July 19, 2005 Please set the Dim Voltage to 2.7X volts and then set the timings to "BY SPD", and then test the modules one at a time with www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure.
