GabryxJ Posted November 17 Posted November 17 Hello, i've recently bought the Corsair 750 RM750x Shift. It has zero RPM fan mode, so the fan doesn't spin at low load. Still, the PSU emits a continuous noise, not sure if coil whine, i've uploaded a video here. It's not very loud, but when i'm just surfing the web it's very annoying. Using task manager i noticed the noise stops as soon as CPU usage surpass ~10% and start again as soon as it decreases under that value. The same happens when GPU usage surpass ~5% (even if CPU usage stay under 10%). So i suppose the noise occurs when the PSU usage is extremely low compared to max capacity (750W). CPU is Ryzen 5 5600G (65W) and GPU is RX 7800 XT (263W). I use a power strip with EMI filter. Should i ask a replace?
faelv Posted November 18 Posted November 18 I have a very similar problem with my RM650: https://forum.corsair.com/forums/topic/192221-rm650s-strange-behavior/
