Hello. The front audio plug on my case doesn't work. I have tried 2 headsets. Works with USB dongle and using back audio I/O but not the front audio. Using B650 AORUS ELITE AX V2. Updated BIOS, chipset and audio driver from Gigabytes website. Using Windows 11 23H2 fully updated. It registers the connection when I plug it in and I can see it as Realtek audio for audio out and microphone in under Windows audio settings. When I do the mic test, sometimes it says 0 sometimes it says 43% but not sure what that means. All I know is I get no audio, even when doing the audio test. I suspect it's a issue with the pin layout of the f_audio connector of the case. There is pin diagram on page 26 of manual but couldn't find a matching one on Corsair's website. I asked Corsair support and they couldn't find that info and said they would email me soon with a ticket. I found it weird that they said they would do it "when they can" instead of before ending the chat. Not the best support experience so far. See reddit post for more info. Any ideas? Thanks for your time.

Solved! I had to change the "Playback Device" option under Realtek Audio Console. Had to change it to as shown. Got audio instantly. When I changed it back, it broke again, so I know it caused the problem. Can someone explain to me why this worked? What is a "internal output device"?

I believe that refers to the internal headers on the motherboard (inside the case) vs the external headers (on the back of the motherboard which would be on the outside of the case).
