LnPrime Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Not new to the pc building realm, but wanted to upgrade my older AIO and upon installing this AIO it immediately was getting overheating issues with my CPU hitting failsafe mode and shutting down the computer. I was suspecting it was to do with the fan/pump controller that came with the unit but have not been able to fix the issue. PC specs listed below. CPU: 13600K MOBO: Pro Z690-A DDR4 GPU: NVIDIA Geforce MSI RTX 3060 RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32GB 3600
c-attack Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Power to the pump originates at the PSU SATA cable to the Commander Core and then is passed through the controller to the pump. If the fans spin and lights come on when you power on, then the PSU SATA connection is good. If they do not, check that connection or try a different SATA connector. If fans and pump light up at power on but no actual pump action (instant overheat), shut down the system and flip your PSU off. Disconnect and reconnect the wide power/data cable from Com Core to pump top. If you have the lcd top, pop it off and remount. PSU back on and start normally. This should force each component to do a deep check at power on. If this does not correct behavior, it’s probably not user solvable. Contact Corsair Support.
