LARYSID Posted October 28 Posted October 28 problem with murals and high CPU consumption (qmlrenderer.exe 4-6% usage in CPU) still exists.. what kind of update was that? Corsair are you listening to your customers? 2 1
zexcrazy Posted October 28 Posted October 28 When are they going to fix simple things like dashboard persistence or device icon size. 1
Technaudio Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Here we go again. Updated from 4.33.138, as that's the only version I can install that works properly. STILL I have no control of my RAM lighting. It is just stuck in the device memory mode that was set in v4.33.138 It did the same when updated to 5.18.106 It did the same when updated to 5.19.104 It was working fine before I updated to 5.18.106 I don't know which 5. version was working previous to updating to 5.18.106, as I don't know which version I was on before that update. It must have been at least 5.9.105 as I downloaded an installer for 5 on 26/12/23, but I had more than likely updated since then. I'm gonna guess at 5.16.75 If I could download an installer for a previous 5. version, I could find out exactly which one caused this issue, but for some reason, Corsair doesn't allow me to install ANY previous version of 5. JUST LET US INSTALL PREVIOUS VERSIONS! 1
MA71BY Posted October 28 Posted October 28 (edited) Still have the issue with the QX fans not having the correct LED assignments in icue. Corsair are you listening to your customers? The problem is on the nvidia side. Reinstall the driver 561.09 works for me. Nvidia has also announced this issue.
Shaitan360 Posted October 29 Posted October 29 I have the HIGH CPU usage Problem with my Rig. 7800X3D and 4090. I have newest NVIDIA drivers 566.03. I uninstalled Newest version of iCUE and went back to 4.33.138 which you can download from Corsairs Website. I only use this to control my RGB so I do not need to "upgrade" to a buggy version of iCUE. I would suggest everyone who has the high CPU issue to just go back to Version 4.33.138. This is NOT an NVIDIA Issue! Look for PREVIOUS VERSIONS and you can download 4.33.138 https://www.corsair.com/us/en/s/downloads 2
rascaluk Posted October 29 Posted October 29 As Shaitan360 says...this CPU bug can also be fixed by being on CURRENT Nvidia drivers but the PREVIOUS iCue. I think the reason is that Nvidia had, in fact, already implemented a provisional fix through an application profile update to geforce experience / Nvidia App - and now this iCue update just broke that mitigation. Simple test is combining a fully update Nvidia App / Nvidia driver install, with previous iCue version.

Also wanted to add that I wouldn't go back as far as 4.33.138...and also that there is a workaround for the problem: If you change LCD Framerate to minimum (1 fps) in iCue, the AIO LCD will throttle the CPU issue. Then just wait for an actual fix and turn your framerate back up to confirm.
Capricorn1 Posted October 29 Posted October 29 5.20.89 iCUE doesn't see my Corsair RAM and says, Quote No supported CORSAIR devices found. My RAM would like to take issue with this. It's a CMH32GH5M2B6000C30 and iCUE, and it worked fine until this morning. Now, I have no control over the RAM lighting and no dashboard for monitoring temps. Is there any way to get the previous version back?

I thought I was installing iCUE 5.19.104, but the iCUE installer will only install the latest version. Luckily, that worked; otherwise, I would be up an excrement creek without a means of propulsion.

Simple test is combining a fully update Nvidia App / Nvidia driver install, with previous iCue version. That is what I did. I tried the newest iCUE release from 10.28.2024 and the previous 10.02.2024 and the iCUE software was using 10-15% CPU constantly. It did not matter what NVIDIA driver I had installed. So I went back the version 4 of iCUE. I purposefully did not install the NVIDIA app or geforce experience, only the driver. So this is not an NVIDIA issue as far as I can tell. I am not sure what the new version of iCUE does better than version 4.... The only difference is I see a Govee plugin in Version 5. So I really do not see any reason to use version 5 if you are only using it for RGB. I will wait for the bug to be fixed before I move back up to Version 5. 1
BWPGamer Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Scrollbars still disappear on the Dashboard tab, your software is a buggy embracement 1
Jessy H Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Since this update my H150i LCD Screen will randomly freeze and it won't show up on dashboard as well as the temperatures for "iCUE LINK H150i LCD: Pump" and "iCUE LINK H150i: Coolant Temp". ICUE also uses a significant amount of CPU causing temps to sit at 50-55 degrees when idle.
FiveInline Posted October 31 Posted October 31 I experience CPU usage around 10% on my 13900K / 4090 / Windows 11 with this new update My CPU frequency is contantly at max 5500Mhz. Closing iCUE and it goes back to Normal.
nam.uk Posted October 31 Posted October 31 hardware lighting to link lighting still plying up on the 115i elite and occasionally hardware lighting stays on the K70 and m65 i have to restart Icue at boot for everything to work again, we really need an option to download the Full older versions as i didn't have theses problems with iCUE v5.16.75 1
Eeejut Posted November 1 Posted November 1 I am still on 5.15.117, with no issues, and with software updates disabled every so often iCue tells me of updates, which I decline to do I have found a version which works for my build - so far so good here if and when this version fails me, I will try an update, until then, I won't try fix what is not broken I will wait in the meantime until Corsair drags their head out of the sand, and : 1: makes previous version releases available for download 2: addresses a totally dictatorial customization approach to the whole program we all paid top dollar for Corsair products - we are entitled to ongoing recognition of this, support, and feedback on issues from Corsair I may be wrong here, these are just my thoughts 1
KMBakPL Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Latest nVidia drivers 566.03 and this version of ICUE and have high CPU usage!
mrchips1 Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Just logged into iCue today and I no longer have anything in my dashboard except the Corsair Dominator Memory kit module. Before, I had CPU temp data for each core, data on both my motherboard temps, and video cards (GPU)s etal with a whole list I could select from, but didn't do them all. This must be part of the fix for " high CPU usage" issues I heard about recently. I didn't notice anything different on my rig at that time, but the fix must have eliminated my modules. Fixed for that but lost a lot for my rig. Hopefully, this is still a work in progress and that aspect of iCue will be restored for me. It was really nice. BTW: I have a wired Corsair Vengeance K70 keyboard that never showed up as a potential device even before. Now it's nothing but the Memory sticks.
antonyfrn Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Noticed that the Asus plugin dont seem to work or may need an update to support the z890 Rog hero.
GrouchoAus Posted November 3 Posted November 3 After so, so long having Vengeance RGB lighting staying on when sleeping, it was finally fixed in v5.19.101. Yay! What's that? It's borked again? Yep. v5.20.89 has not only returned to not turning DRAM RGB off in sleep mode, it's worse. My old workaround of using a key assignment to blank all RGB out before sleeping now doesn't work. The DRAM RGB gets lit up on the way out the door, metaphorically flipping the bird at me on the way. Nice job guys. Nice job.
Lovan Posted November 4 Posted November 4 Murals won't load on lighting node pro until it is toggled off then back on.
mrchips1 Posted November 4 Posted November 4 Hey, Referencing my post of last Saturday. It's fixed. Went into Control Panel Programs, highlighted the iCue Program repaired it and voila it's fixed. All modules back. However, still don't have my K70 keyboard listed in Devices. Just the Memory kit.
