Shinchan
same here. These last 2 releases, Corsair iCUE Components is grabbing 6-8% CPU. Causing temp higher then normal. My machine used to be idel with CPU at 2-3% usage. Now.. its setting at 9% CPU usage ideling. Please fix this.

Caliii
This update has screwed with my QX fans, 2LEDS in the back side of the fans on the motor housing are not working at all this is across all fans. They where working completely fine prior to the update. And the fact all 13 fans are suddenly like this is deffo a bug in icue. I double checked to make sure the LEDs are selected in icue tried lowering brightness turning it up etc But no luck. Also lost the led lighting on my headset. TigerShadow
Really High CPU usage after the new update (updated today 10.2.2024 ... Had no issues prior, but now when the PC is just idle, iCue is performing it's own ritual in the background. I have included photos to show the task manager. I uninstalled, and followed all of the "Full Removal" steps as well and reinstalled iCue, and it still reports the same in task manager. Please reroll the previos driver or figure out what was tweeked. Everything is operational functionality wise, but the program shouldn't be running in super performance gamer mode. Thanks! Shinchan
Why dont they allow us to download previous version instead of that download exe that only download newest version. I want my old version... 😡
TigerShadow
I tried to be slick and roll back Windows with a system restore, it worked for the first few minutes, and everything was running normal, I decided to check iCUE (it was showing v 5.18.106 and was running normal, I went into the software update section to turn off the "auto download" option, and it slid over no issues. Then, for no real reason, besides to see if it would show the broken version, I clicked the "Check for Update" button, all items vanished, and a little flicker happened, but nothing would show up, and all of a sudden it was doing the CPU walk of Fame! I then at this point decided to just uninstall it, but nope it popped an error, tried to repair, nope another error. I had to download the Installer again, attempted uninstall first and still got the same error through the launcher, so I had to repair, then after the repair I restarted, still the same issue with the Corsair processes just running wild. After the restart I just completely uninstalled iCUE. Just going to have to wait it out, I guess. For the Dev Team: Allow the auto installer the access to allow us the users the ability to either roll-back or select a previous driver version. Would help eliminate some of the chaos. dhart2013
With all iCUE services closed, I'm running at about 31-33 C idle. Recently, with iCUE services running, I'm idling at 50-59 C. I've been going nuts trying everything to resolve. Clean installed per Corsair's recommendations No fancy lighting effects, everything is on static. No murals. I found I can get my CPU back down 31-33 by changing my LCD Refresh Rate to 1. Annoying, but fine. But my GPU is still constantly above 50 degrees with nothing open except iCue -even if I close the window and minimize it to the taskbar.
c-attack
6 hours ago, ADeBor said: With this version problem with murals cpu usage 20%....................... Are you also running Nvdia GPU driver 565.90? There appears to be an issue with resource consumption specifically tied to that new driver released Sept. 30th. Rolling back to the prior driver reduces the CPU consumption for those affected. Murals uses more to begin with out of necessity, so I can see the GPU issue heavily affecting that aspect. Even for non-murals users with low device counts, the CPU% doubled and prevented core idling on my setup.
Shinchan
weird that my son computer has no issue with 5.19.101. But he has SFX computer with small case. The only thing he has is Corsair iCUE H115i ELITE CAPELLIX Liquid CPU Cooler. No other corsair component. No CPU high cpu usage with Corsair ICUE Component. My system has Corsair icue 5.19.104. I am running Corsair Link H170i with screen. 2 Corsair Link Hub, running total of 14 Link fans. From my task manager, i can see 3 Corsair iCue Link Component. 2 of them is cpu usage 0 - 1 %. The third one (corsair icue component) is running 7-9% all the time... even at idling.
Gretzky
I have the updated Nvidia firmware , but when I roll back the icue to something other than 5-19-104 the cpu consumption stops. Mine was at like 19 percent

Gretzky
The one that I think came out 2 days ago , meaning it sounds like an icue issue , cause like I said once I wrote back to a different icue it stoped
corb06
Very high CPU usage on iCue Component. 2 of them using over 10-15% of my 14900K, making it hotter and my chassi fans make more noise. Please FIX ASAP.

Mine was at like 19 percent Don’t update the Nvidia driver. Stay on 561.xx or older. You can’t really roll back CUE except to use the legacy CUE 4, but it’s not necessary in this instance. Rolling back the gpu driver is the better option that doesn’t reduce functionality.

I'm on the Geforce GRD 565.90 and don't have the high CPU usage others are reporting on either of my machines. Even with ICUE open, I see very minimal usage. c-attack
It's possible there is a specific device or function triggering it, but on my main machine it was a very clear jump and change in activity along with some undesirable GPU effects. With normal baseline programs open (including CUE) it was holding at 10-12% minimum on a 14900K. Killing off all non-windows programs dropped it to 6%, but even without CUE running that is higher than normal. Back on Nvidia 561.09 I am running CUE, have 3 apps and browser open, and I am holding at 3-4% with clocks properly stepping down. To me that suggests there are other programs affected like browsers with GPU acceleration, my little internet speed graph, Task Manager graphs, widgets, etc.
