RamsesThe7th
As the title suggests, I turned on my pc tonight to my AIO flashing red. I opened the iCUE app and it said pump failure for my AIO. Weird, I thought. I immediately shut my pc off and inspected the hardware, everything checked out. I powered on again, and checked my readings, and saw that the pump, and the fans were spinning. Coolant was flowing through the system, and the temperatures were right where they should be. There is no obvious failure, the only thing I can chalk it up to is a windows update that messed everything up, as it infamously does.
c-attack
Unfortunately this is a known issue on that model. We think it’s a problem with the pump tach sensor and it falsely reports to the software there is a pump failure when there isn’t. However as you’ve seen it’s still a major problem since it kicks you out if all Commander Core and AIO controls. This is a hardware defect and you need to contact Corsair Support to start the RMA process. See if you can do the Advanced RMA where they ship you the new unit first on a credit card hold, then return the original unit after. That will keep your down time to zero vs shipping the unit back and waiting.
