Corsair/ElGato Sponsored Streams Defending Domestic Violence

Cosair and ElGato sponsor the World of Warcraft organization Echo.  A user on Twitter recently aired concerns about domestic violence from one of their members.

Today, a streamer in a professional HR capacity, turned on his stream to defend Echo and their accused member.  He was leaking previously unpublicized DMs and defending their org and player before the situation was fully resolved, all while mods were banning/deleting messages from anyone who disagreed. 

Is this not incredibly unprofessional to make this kind of public statement, and leak DMs live on Twitch all while displaying sponsors logos?
