Problem with iCUE

Hello everyone,

 

I have a full iCue link setup with the RX fans and unfortunately I'm encountering problems.

 

Pretty much every time that I have my computer on the lights on all the fans will go off alongside the iCue link AIO screen freezing. The fans physically keep working well but all of the lights as I said just go completely off. Does anybody know what might be causing this?

 

If I close down iCue and restart the fans come back on, or if I just close it down, the fan lights come back on alongside the screen in their default manner and never go off, which is leading me to believe its some problem with the software like its being overridden or something. Any assistance would be very much appreciated, please let me know if you require any more information.

I would contact Corsair Support.  While occasionally someone has issues with the LCD freezing it's animation, the added twist of the fan lights going off is something new.  Not sure whether that is going to be power fluctuations from the base CUE Link hub, bad cable, or something else.  You might want to turn on debug logging in CUE general settings.  The next time it happens go back to that setting and manually export the logs.  Upload it with the support ticket and tell them the event is at the end of the log.
