Sideshow Pat
I have two gaming PCs, one with a Commander Core setup and the other with Link. The one with the Core goes to sleep automatically just fine, but the one with the Link system refuses to. I've tried a number of different methods, including trying to stop the Corsair Service from doing anything from an elevated command prompt in powercfg. I've tried disabling the ability of my onboard LAN and WiFi, all keyboard devices, and all mouse devices to wake the PC up, but that hasn't helped because the problem isn't that the PC won't stay asleep, it's that it won't go to sleep in the first place. "lastwake" shows nothing since the PC never went to sleep. If I exit iCue and then wait the set time, the PC goes right to sleep. Please assist, thanks! Sideshow Pat
I received and started using my RMA replacement Darkstar Wireless mouse. The old one had been having failed firmware updates that actually worked (??) that would come in waves. Since it's the newest device, it's now at the beginning of my Home page in iCue. I just came back to find my system in standby as it should be. So I guess, for now, issue somehow resolved. Sideshow Pat
Aaaand now we're back. For no apparent reason, my PC stopped going into standby. I close iCue and sure enough it goes to sleep just fine. How can I determine what about iCue is causing the computer to have insomnia?
