iCue Problems with Scimitar RGB Elite

Recommended Posts

Hey,

I have been using a Scimitar RGB Elite for quite some time now.
I am actually on my second one, after my first gave out from wear about a year ago.
But recently things just got janky.

First, and this probably isnt an iCue Problem, about 2 days ago, my Mouse stopped working when I boot my PC, and needs to be pulled out and plugged back in once to work.
Second, my lighting is not working properly, when connected to iCue. The Lighting works if I quit iCue and let the Hardware Profile take over, but ominously this does not work, if switch to Hardware Mode within iCue. I also learned that the Lighting does actually work, but only if I specifically set the brightness to 33% within iCue.

What is going on here?
Besides some toothing problems with my first mouse, I never had problems like this. All this started at most like a week ago.
The product work fine once I get it working, but it's a pain to unplug and re-plug it everytime I need to boot my PC, especially since my work requires frequent reboots of my machine.
