PollexMessier
Whenever there's no audio for a few seconds, the headset seems to take a second or two to realize when audio starts playing again. So say, a scene in a show where characters stand around for a moment of silence or tension, the next time a sound occurs, the headphones don't start playing sound again until a few seconds after, resulting is words being lost. And the silence period that causes this is incredibly brief. If I wanna hear what was said I typically have to roll back the video to just fractions of a second before audio starts. So this happens constantly, even in brief pauses in back-and-forth dialogue. I've even had it happen when background ambiance is present. If it's quiet enough, the headphones will just assume it's silence and cut out. This is completely unacceptable for any pair of headphones regardless of price. But especially a pair this expensive. And it's apparently been an issue for nearly a year from posts I've found about it elsewhere. I'm assuming what's happening is a battery saving feature that puts the headphones into a sort of pseudo-sleep mode when no audio is playing. But if it takes the headphones a second to realize when audio starts again, this feature is less than worthless. I don't care if my headphones have better battery life if I'm periodically losing several seconds of audio and needing to replay the same 10 seconds of video repeatedly to try and hear what's being said because of it. It makes them completely unusable.
