rock1m1
It started happening from today, noticed icue just randomly deleted itself. I tried to repair it but it says it won't because there are files in the corsair installation directory. I could not delete said files manually because it says it is being used. So I had to boot to safe mode, delete the files, go back to normal mode, uninstall corsair and then install it again. Everything is working again except my RAM is not getting detected anymore. iCue software no longer picks up my RAM. I went to the bios to see if 'SPD Write Disable' was set to 'False' and it was. c-attack
There are a bunch of these threads all over the place. It appears to be a bug specific to CUE 5.18. There isn't a clear solution nor indication of why it affects one person and not another. Obviously you've just done a real clean install, so that isn't the fix. Right now the only known successful workaround is to roll back to CUE 4.33. That only works if all your gear existed back in January 2023 when that version was written. You'll also be setting everything up again, so that may not be a worthwhile option for a lot of people.

c-attack
Yeah, I don't understand this one. It properly detects the RAM on the installation, downloads the software module for it, but then does not properly display it as a device. I thought there might be a connection to the upgrade path (5.17.110 -> 5.18), but then we have people doing clean installs or even new Windows installs running into this, so the prior files don't exist. This one is still mysterious and a lot of new reports rolled in over the weekend.
John Hoang
The conflict between new services that Corsair use for DRAM detection in 5.18 and old services could lead to this issue. Check if CorsairLLAccess services are running with iCUE 5.18. Delete those services and restart iCUE could solve the issue.
