The order of the QX RGB Fan in Murals and the system hub doesn't match the manual settings

Recommended Posts

The order of the QX RGB Fan in Murals and the system hub (Fig 1) doesn't match the manual settings (Fig 2), causing the fan lighting order to become disorganized when the iCUE software is closed. This issue appeared after updating the iCUE software to version 5.17.110. Could technical support address this problem in future software updates?

Your virtual Lighting Setup and the Murals layout are two different systems.  They are not supposed to match.  The Lighting Setup tab in CUE lets you change the virtual order of the fans when using any sequential lighting effect within normal CUE profile operations.  It works for profile lighting.

The Murals arrangement is it's own thing and you drag it around to create your order.  The murals layout resetting between boots is a different issue and reported by others.

This issue occurs when the RX RGB fan and H150i RGB water cooling are connected to the same link system hub. If only the RX RGB fan is connected to the link system hub (without H150i RGB water cooling), there is no such problem. Early versions of ICUE 5 did not have this issue, but ICUE 5 was downloaded online and I cannot reinstall the previous version to solve this problem
