fIreChuckEr
I have had this issue for months now. It was working prior to May without issue. Corsair VENGEANCE® RGB 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 DRAM 6000MT/s CL30 AMD EXPO & Intel XMP Memory Kit
Raiden85OCUK
I was having this issue before but only when I clicked one of the options on the RAM tab, but now since the update to 5.17 I'm getting this error constantly. My RAM is identical as it was 2x sticks from the same packaging. My RAM is the Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB DDR5 6000 CL30 2x 32GB sticks on an Asus X670E Hero using the EXPO 1 profile. I built this system about two months ago and this Corsair bug has been there from day 1. Really wish you would look into this ridiculous bug. Raiden85OCUK
I doubt it will be fixed anytime soon, plenty complained on Corsairs reddit page as well even me, and that was a 3 month old thread.
Trisped
iCUE asked me to update today, now getting the same warning. I am not exactly clear if the problem is that the DRAM modules (from a pair pack) have both EXPO and XMP, or if the software thinks that one RAM module is using EXPO and the other is using XMP. This seems to imply it is the first: https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/articles/26699818972813-Memory-Warning-Message-for-Hybrid-CORSAIR-memory-kits-in-iCUE Edited August 9 by Trisped Added link about message
Hibernian
Absolute nightmare, had the same issue for a good while now ! so rolled it back to another verison which sorted the issue. Now, this morning there was another update presumably to apply the fix but NO..... thats it back and now my screen on my AIO has the red alert icon displayed. Afterall this time you`d think it would be resolved but it continues to get worse !!!!!!
LyntonB
yeah the problem is there is no cog icon in iCue for the vengeance modules so I've no idea how I'd receive any firmware update if that is indeed the fix. I'm a bit worried about this and considering return if they are not matching them properly at the factory
Leonardy
Hello, im getting the same probleem, new pc al componenten new from corsair, any update from corsair?
Trisped
I checked today and the issue still persists with version 5.18.106. I checked the box for the RAM and it clearly states iCUE and AMD EXPO. Nothing about another profile. In addition, it says "VENGEANCE DDR5 MEMORY FOR AMD". So this is not an issue with the product not being supported like I thought, it is a software issue. Hibernian
Yet another issue afte another update > Icue no longer detecting my devices , fans are set at high speed and i have zero way of adjusting them. I cant even use the check for update function as Icue has this blanked out ........ This goes from one extreme to the next ... surely after all these issues alarm bells must be ringing by now with system support......

souls558
@all here’s “the fix” from Corsair. Haven’t tried this myself yet, but will update here if it works for me. https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/articles/30167929440781-iCUE-RAM-RGB-Detection-in-iCUE-5-17-and-5-
