Installation of Icue Issues

Recommended Posts

I can't instal icue on my computer.
Apparently, i had an older installation of icue, that i tried to remove. Now when i try to install it (the new one), the launcher stay stucked at 33% trying to download packages of pre-installation.
I've tried to instal an older version of icue, but it said that i have a newer version installed. When i check, i have nothing installed, and i have removed all the file that i could find like it is suggested in the unistall guide i've found on the corsair forum.
I've a k55 rgb pro xt keyboard wich comes with 6 macro keys i really needs, but without icue i can't use them.

Any solution/suggestions please?

You probably need to clean out the files at this point and it's likely part of the installation package is corrupt leaving you in limbo.  See the directions for a clean install below.  Make sure you do the registry clean out.  This is where problems tend to linger.  This will erase all your profiles and settings, so hopefully you previously backed up any valuable profiles.

For a quick fix to your iCUE installation issue, try running Corsair’s troubleshooter tool, delete any old iCUE files, clean your computer’s registry, and then attempt to reinstall iCUE. If you’re still unable to install iCUE, you can use your K55 keyboard’s onboard memory to program the macro keys following the manual’s instructions or online guides.
