Double Left Click for Hardware Key Assignments

Recommended Posts

I have an M65 mouse which is great with the extra buttons. I use ALT+Tab for the forward button, Escape for the rear thumb button and (left) double-click for the trigger button.

I only have one (maybe two) issues. iCue uses a lot of RAM. It used to be a full gigabyte of RAM though now (after an update) it's "only" using 622MB. That is still a ton of RAM usage to do three keybindings though as I've used X-Mouse Button Control and I disable all the RGB almost all of the time.

This would not be an issue if I could assign double-click to the trigger button via the Hardware Key Assignments however that option is not available. Could the iCue team please add it? That would instantly negate my complaints about the RAM usage if I don't have to have iCue running.

A friendly suggestion for iCue (otherwise) is that the GUI isn't the most intuitive. It took me many attempts to figure out how to assign keys though I obviously did figure it out. Some floating modal noting that the assignment has been applied/saved and another one (or merge the two) to note that the profile has been updated would help. Not that it is difficult to test Alt+Tab though some folks might have some keyboard bindings that they can't easily test.
