jt_aus
Hi all, I'm setting up the following system and want some opinions on the best Corsair RAM options for extreme overclocked gaming. Mobo: MSI K8N Diamond SLI CPU: Athlon FX-57 Gfx card: Dual Leadtek 7800GTX in SLI Case/cooling: Asetek VaporChill Ext Edt II sub zero Is there better performance with only 1Gb of 2x512Mb PC4400 / 550MHz, or one of the following options? 2xTWINX1024-3200XLPRO / DDR-400 (PC-3200) / 2-2-2-5 (4x512) or 2xTWINX1024-4400C25 / DDR-550 (XMS-4400) / 2.5-4-4-8 (4x512) or 1x TWINX2048-3200C2PT / DDR-400 (PC-3200) / 2-3-3-6 (2X1024) Any other better options? Wired
2 is always better than 4. 4400C25 is only if you plan to OC. TwinX2048-3200C2 is the way to go.
