Nigel_Aves
I'm worried that I might have damaged the iCUE Commander CORE, that came with the cooler. So I would like to replace it. But I cannot find the exact part that was supplied with the order. The Commander supplied can cover, 6 fans / 6 lighting and the CPU cooler. I've hunted high and low to find the part, but to no avail. I stupidly ordered the iCUE Commander CORE from Amazon, well, that was the wrong part, no CPU cooler connector. Could someone please let me know what the correct part is. Or, how I replace what I have. Kind Regards Nigel Aves.
c-attack
It is the Commander Core. Corsair may have some for direct sale as a "replacement part" on the website. There also may be some out there on Ebay or other 3rd party marketplaces from uses that have abandoned the AIO part of their cooling. It does work as a stand alone lighting and fan controller. Part number is in the link. https://www.corsair.com/us/en/p/pc-components-accessories/CW-8960071/commander-core-rgb-pwm-fan-controller-cw-8960071 It's sibling you've already met is the Commander Core XT. Typically we drop the "core'" from the middle of the name when discussing in hopes of limiting confusion over the two parts. They are not the same as the XT models drops the necessary pump wide connection and provides 2 temp registers and an extra RGB channel instead. This was further complicated when they named the second generation of Capellix coolers "XT" models. The fans changed and the superficial graphics changed, but it is still a Commander Core as the main controller.
