Emvy Posted January 30 Posted January 30 After updating to most recent icue, enhance pointer precision keeps getting enabled even after disabling and applying after a restart of the computer or icue it gets re-enabled. I have narrowed it down to icue being the cause, when i uninstall icue the problem goes away. However, that is not an option for me I need it for my keyboard, psu, and ram. Reinstalling/clean installing does not fix. Windows Sync settings is off. Windows 10 22H2 (OS Build 19045.3996) Glorious Model O- Corsair iCue V. 5.11.95
Lord Zog Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Same issue, it resets my cursor speed back to default also in Windows 10.
Woozzy101 Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Same Problem with enhance pointer precision getting turned on after a restart everytime 😞
shogiii Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Same issue here and also my lightning node dissaper from icue completly. Everytime I restart my computer I have to go to control panel>mouse and unchek the bloody enhance pointer precision, it's so annoying! Corsair please fix this as you will be bombared from people especialy who are a gamers. Thanks
ArgonV Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Can also confirm the Mouse Pointer issues - traced it down to iCue startup. Running Win 10 Pro here, and the previous version of iCue - so not just the newest version causing this issue.
Nessa Posted February 1 Posted February 1 The same problem for me, when u launch iCUE enhance pointer precision enable, so u must uncheck this option by urself, it’s so annoying!
ArgonV Posted February 1 Posted February 1 I did find a work around just now and it hasn't come back: Set the mouse options with iCue running, Apply and Close the mouse options window. Exit iCue. Go back to mouse options and set options again. Apply and Close the mouse options window. Start iCue. Go back to mouse options and check. Settings seem to stick. I just restarted my computer also and they are still set (no enhance pointer precision, and the speed slightly to the left for me) 1
ArgonV Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Updated to latest iCue just now and tested after having already done the above. All is still working great.

kosma Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Bump. Also dealing with this issue. Have gone on a wild goose chase doing everything short of an in-place update of Windows 10. I eventually identified iCue as the culprit, as when quitting it from the icon tray in the taskbar and starting it back up, it would reset my windows mouse settings. Also couldn't update the firmware of my h150i for quite some time, even after quitting Glorious Core, MSI Center, and Razer Synapse. Turns out I had to force quit several modules of MSI Center STILL running in task manager, even when the app has been closed from the icon tray. That program is a steaming pile of dung. MSI: decent hardware, abysmal 'central control dashboard' software. I thought the firmware failing to update was the issue, but even after successfully updating to 2.0.19, the mouse settings issue persisted. I'll just bide my time. I'm glad to know that this is a widespread issue that Corsair is aware of. It is so refreshing to see a thread like this with posts timestamped from within the last 24 hours lol.
55j Posted February 2 Posted February 2 What a catastrophe. Please permit us to rollback the software? 2

You're a corsair employee and all you've done is come here to share a GIF and leave us at the mercy of this issue... Where is the QA testing before rolling out a bugged piece of software!? Where is the ability to rollback or access archive versions of the software!? where is the customer support!? SMH 2

I still feel the mouse setting while the PC starts up, but after icue completes, the mouse feels normal. Now, if only I could icue to detect all devices at startup.... There is ALWAYS one device that doesn't get detected on startup/resume. Usually it's my K95 kb, but today it's the ram... smh. 1
vertex627 Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Please fix this. Every time after pc reboot mouse acceleration is enabled!!!!!!!!! It's disgusting!
HnyBear.bacon Posted February 3 Posted February 3 (edited) Hence the reason I called for a new dev team but then got temp banned for it. This keeps happening. Updates to iCUE breaking things that aren’t even controlled by iCUE. I personally lost a PSU because of their software issues and yet it keeps happening. How about instead of banning angry customers you guys actually fix something. Edited February 3 by HnyBear.bacon 1
kleineelfe666 Posted February 3 Posted February 3 This is more then annoying, stop it fix it. How in the world I don´t even use a corsair mouse...
ChriscomIT Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Same issue on my system. After latest icue update everytime icue gets started my windows enhance pointer precision option gets enabled. Super annoying. How can such an bug be released in a stable version??
BreadBoi Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Having the same problem here. Goodluck to you corsair software devs with fixing the problem!
osirus35 Posted February 4 Posted February 4 I can confirm I am having the same issues. I do not even have a corsair mouse which is even more frustrating. So it make 0 sense for the software to be touching un-related settings to their products
