silentcid
I saw a sale at newegg.com so I went ahead and bought this one since there were lots of good reviews for it from the users you bought it. I have a ecs kv2 board with the latest bios that just came out a couple of days ago. I been getting blue screens while loading windows so I went and got memtest to test out my ram. I tried these settings: 3-3-3-8 and that one will not even let my computer to boot up and I get audible tone coming from my computer. So I went ahead and tried these settings: 2.5-3-3-8 which was going find intill I got an 1 error on test 4 and a lockup close to halfway to test 5. So I went ahead and tested these settings: 2.5-3-3-6 and only get 10 errors. Am I using wrong settings? Should I use something else? I noticed there in the bios a tRRP which I am not sure what that is so I leave it alone. What should that settings be?
Wired
CAS Latency (tCL): 2.5 RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 3 Row Precharge (tRP): 3 Active to Precharge Delay (tRAS): 6 mem voltage: 2.75 agp voltage: default 1.5 (may need to be 1.6) all other settings to defaults try that. silentcid
yeah that worked. I think my voltage was off when I got the latest bios and agp volt was boosted. thanks
