I have this new cooler today and plugged everything into iCUE LINK but there no cable to connect to cpu header and got this cpu fan error when booting. I disabled it in the bios but dose the icue box thing control all fans and pump. Never had this type off cooler where fans all conencted toghther and dont need to put fan cables into headers and raidiotor dose not even have cpu fan cable anymore. So everthing is connected fans working and temps are really great best temps had on comp so far.

The cable meant for cpu fan is a tachometer wire only. It reports a signal back to the BIOS specifically to address the cpu fan boot safety protocol. There is no requirement that you use it and any one with custom water cooling goes without this as well.

If the pump does not turn on at boot, there are secondary warning from the system (flashing red on all hub devices), the loud roar of fans, and then an instant warning in the software if you make it to the desktop.

The CUE Link Hub does control pump and fan speed plus all the lighting duties. It does not need the tach wire to function and going without does not restrict it in any way.
