why did you have to change things corsair!

so i got the yellow void pro headphones when they released in 2017 i believe. and i love these headphones. i cant find anything that sounds as good and is as comfortable (they are still a little heavy, but what do you expect for 6 year old wireless headphones lol) and the ear pads are starting to kick the bucket. the problem is, i cant find replacements for it. the "current replacements" are completely different and completely changes the sound (for the worse)... has any one else experienced this? has anyone found the old ear pads so i can replace them?
if i had to guess on what has happened, corsair came out with the void elite that has a slightly different material/design ear pad than the pro had, and all they sell now are the elite ear pads as replacements. thanks for the help from anyone that has experienced this... also, if i do have to replace them, any suggestions? ~200$ budget, but can go a little higher if they quality is that much better
