ghetzu
hello, I would like to start sayin' a big thank you to Corsair and RamGuy for helping me to change my bad modules, but now i have a question. After receiving my 2 CMX512 PC4000 modules from rma on a closer inspection i discovered this on the sticker: module 1#: CMX512 - 4000PT (upper left side) XMS4000 v2.1 (upper right side) 0404044-11 (upper right side) On the bottom the following: XMS3200, 512MB, 500MHz and 3.4.4.8 < shouldn't be XMS4000? i can post a pic if you need! module 2#: CMX512 - 4000PT (upper left side) XMS4000 v2.1 (upper right side) 0404044-12 (upper right side) On the bottom the following: XMS4000, 512MB, 500MHz and 3.4.4.8 2nd question(request): on AOA forums we're gathering information about Epox 9NDA3+/j mainboard and different kinds of modules that this mainboard doesnt supports(memtest errors), and i'm the only one that i don't know what IC are in this 2 modules. Can you tell me what kind of IC are in this modules? Pls MR RamGuy help, and thank you !
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted July 1, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted July 1, 2005 I apologize for this mistake, more than likely this is a misprint on the memory module; if you want we can replace it again, however that module should function and run at PC4000, and in regards to future RMA or replacement, please do not worry about it since it clearly states on our system that you have a TwinX set and the module is actually labelled or spec to run at DDR 500MHz with a wrong speed which should be PC4000 not 3200.
