jimj166
I'm building a computer for a client and I purchased this from newegg.com CORSAIR ValueSelect 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit System Memory One of the sticks tested bad on memtest and the windows memory utility. I test in my comouter as well. Motherboard on clients is asus-a7n8x, mine is a7n8xe-deluxe. Clients cpu is barton 3000 333fsb my cpu is barton 2800 333fsb. I tried the 2.5t-3-3-7, 3t-3-3-7, 2.5t-3-3-8. Errors every time. Also voltage reference at 2.6 as well as 2.7. Again as I said, the other stick tested fine. Also so you know, I was running the memory at 333, in sync with the cpu. I'm really short on time with this work order so my question is would it be faster to rma with you guys or with newegg? Also since it was a twin-x pack doI need to send both modules back or just the bad one? It would be nice if I could just send the bad one, then I could at least set them with 512mb. Let me know what you think. Thanks :sigh!:
