KaptCrunch
1or2 yrs warranty ithinks check rubber pump grommet what potion have you been using? i hope 33% PG for quick test to see if WB micro channels is clogged, remove the quick connects ends (@HC) from hose, an use 8" lenght of 1/4 id hose to bypass the WB an if noise is gone, take WB off an blow it out (max 15psi) an rez while you at it. stev
Iv does these things again im still having this damm noise an im using 33%pg can you please tell me if there is anything else i can do hydromaster, Can you provide more detail of where this noise is coming from. Some noises have happened due to: - the micro-channels clogging (popular issue) - coolant mixture ratio below 33% PG (popular issue) - under filled reservoir (fill up to the bottom most thread of the reservoir with distilled water) - pump & isolation ring vibrations (remove and discard the isolation ring, an early production HC issue) - sticking flow indicator (rare issue) - flow restrictions with the tubing (kinks and sharp bends, often issue) The HydroCool has a 2 year warranty to the original purchased owner. poopeyhed2
It's odd that I have the same problem - as the temperatures go up the pump emits this hissing noise - almost like when someone says 'psst' to whisper to you. I just flushed the system the other day, and it was working fine for the past 2 or 3 days and just started happening today. Unfortunately the warranty has run out, 2 years just the other day. Edit: Mine's fixed - too much pressure in the reservoir? after I opened it slightly and left it open for a bit it's gone.
