Psychedelicu
Hi there, After the last update, the fan curve is not working anymore. The software version is CORSAIR iCUE v5.7.106 I have already tried to reinstall it and delete the cooling folder from C:Users/(name)/AppData/Roaming/Corsair/. No luck at all. What can i do more? Glood69
Hi the same think after upgrade icue 22H2 software is bullshit you can try to install icue 4.7 because 5.7.106 is bug anf very dangerous for cooling it s working for me

SNIPEYOPIPE
I just updated to Corsair v5 tonight and it overheated my PC for hours, I couldn't use it. All fans on the Commander Pro would only run at about 50% of normal speeds even at MAX RPM settings. Max on my QL120's would run at 900-1,000 rpm. I lost my system entirely because I was just watching a movie and I randomly looked down to see my Kraken X73 showing a blood red LED color showing overheating but it was too late. According to CAM, my 7900X, which is heavily overclocked, was sitting at 95C for a VERY long time before I ever noticed the issue. All the fans were completely stopped at 0 RPM for only God knows how long before I crashed the first time. I later found out they would only run at around 50%-60% RPM. My silent/low-RPM fan curve wasn't working when the fans were set to 700 RPM. The fans would just shut off entirely. Max RPM only registered 900-1000 RPM. I couldn't use my PC due to this afterwards until I took off my side panels and used a box fan to blow into my front radiator so I could log in long enough to debug and uninstall iCUE. Once uninstalled, fans ramped right back up like they have been sitting for over 3 years. I reinstalled iCUE v4.33 and it's running flawlessly. Corsair severely botched this update. Firmware updates also do not work for me in v5. I literally had my PC cooked tonight because of Corsair. They are about to get dropped like stolen good at this point. andreaz70
Same, if you use the gfx card sensor (at least for me), as source for fan control. It shows the right temp of the gfx card, but internally it seems to work with a value of 0 (5.7.106). Also the K100 OPX hanging bug isn't resolved till yet. @Corsair Its time to recall this keyboard from all the shops if you are not willing to fix this bug. Wonder if they even tested this before they pushed it out or just assumed everyone used their sensors for everything.
AllyAsunder
I too made the mistake of allowing iCue to update to v 5.7.106 and the fan curves have completely stopped working. Even if I just set everything to Extreme all the fans are running at around 40-50% of where they should be and my components are rapidly overheating. Shocking update, I'm so sick of iCue constantly getting in the way of me using my computer. I'm going to try installing v 4.33 as suggested by @Glood69 I can't abide Corsair's complacency towards their customers and won't bother buying any more of their landfill. whatthe2070
Unfortunately I found out about this the hard way also last night. Started to play a game, but started to see some weird behaviour (odd lag, glitches), looked over at the PC and noticed it was oddly quiet. Alt Tabbed out, opened iCue dashboard. CPU was at 100 degrees and GPU was nearly 90. But yeah, the RGB effects were working perfectly so *slow clap*. Checked my fan curve for the CPU radiator on my (H100i), according to the curve and sensor reading (yellow line) fans should have been maxxed out at 100 degrees, but were spinning at around 500 RPM... none of the other case intake / exhaust fans (controlled by Commander core XT) were over 1000rpm, so the PC was just cooking itself. Anyway, I tired restarting the iCue service from the app - No effect. I manually set all fans to fixed % to cool down the components. Removed iCue 5 v5.7.106 Rebooted Installed iCue 5 v5.7.106 Tested a custom fan curve Same thing as OP, the temperature on the sensor was reading right but the fan RPMs were not spinning up to match. Uninstalled iCue 5 v5.7.106 Downloaded and Installed iCue 4 v4.33.138 Re-set up all of my custom fan curves and everything works perfectly again. <whinge> Unfortunately, I think the only way out of this one is a rollback to iCue v4, really, really disappointing that this software release came out with such a bug, I would guess most people that would buy corsair's AIO and fans and controllers would be running custom curves, and for the software just to ignore them and let components reach their max/throttle temps is really bad. I am pretty concerned that despite knowing about this since OCT 11, there has been no fix nor response to this issue, that's just really poor business. </whinge> I too will lodge a support ticket, just in case Corsair don't believe its a problem.
Psychedelicu
Almost all my "high-end" components that are from the gaming range have issues. Corsair AIO, Corsair memory ram, gigabyte motherboard, gpu... all of them! I'm done buying anything that has an RGB led on it.
wic150
Hello, I have the same problem, could you tell me where I can download version 4.33.Thank you very much.I've found it, thank you Edited October 22 by wic150
infam0usd33d
Same isssue, Intel Core i7 10700KF. Fan curve won't work off of temps of the cpu, works fine with everything else tho. To be honest, first be time I've had an issue with iCue. It'd be good to get an update right away, I can work around this bug till its fixed. I have the same issue however after completely uninstalling icue, including deleting folders, and re-installing icue v4.33.138, the fans on my H100i are still running at '0' rpm. Custom fan curves didn't work, nor did forcing a firmware update. Should I submit a ticket? The H100i was invoiced to me on the 25/11/2020. It sounds like you've gone through quite the journey with your H100i. We're currently waiting for Frodo to bring it to Mount Doom for a fix! In the meantime, perhaps Gandalf can work some of his wizardry to sort it out.

fostiras
I had to change the sensor to the coolant temp and re configure my curves to match the behavior of the temperature of the coolant. The fact that this issue is known for so long and Corsair software engineers still haven't pushed a hotfix is absolutely rediculous to say the least. Also shame on the QA team that they let this mess to happen.

I can second this. Absolutely Garbage Software update as usual from Corsair. Nothing about cooling profiles works properly. Even uninstalled + deletion of every folder + regedit. Installed again, repaired and all the other bs AND THE WORST OF IT, u cant even install older versions. Corsair makes damn 50 dollar fans now, but cant be bothered to make the proper Software with it. Too bad u can't sue for stuff like this. What a joke.
