Bizz0
I’m new to pc building and this is my first ever build. I bought the “icue H100i Capellix XT” a day ago, but when I tried to screw in the pump head to the stand-off screws, the stand-off screws weren’t long enough to go through the pump head holes. I also can’t seem to install the bottom left stand-off screw. No matter how hard I try it just doesn’t screw in.
LeDoyen
i don't see well, but did you screw the standoffs on the backplate then feed the assembly through the motherboard holes? The way it goes is you are supposed to hold the backplate behind, and screw it with the standoffs to the motherboard (standoffs screwed from the front side, CPU side). Also, make sure you use the correct standoffs for AM4/AM5. Edited September 26 by LeDoyen

I watched a video of someone with the same motherboard doing it and it worked fine for them. Is it possible that I have faulty equipment?
Dorveos
I’m having the same issue with my iCUE H150i Elite Capellix on my MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk. I used the same backplate as Bizz0 for AMD/AM4 and my standoff screws do not go past the plate so i can use the thumbscrews. Can anyone offer a solution? Dorveos
Nvm i didnt notice that pushing the back plate would move my standoffs higher since it was on its side
