joshr45 Posted June 29, 2005 Share Posted June 29, 2005 i just tested my 512x2 sticks of memory CMX512-3200PT and it had 7 errors at the 864.3MB mark with memtest86+ what do i do... the RMA forms says i need some ticket id.. joshr45 Posted June 30, 2005 Author Share Posted June 30, 2005 CMX512-3200PT motherboard is GA-K8NSNXP processor is AMD athlon 64 +3200 everything in the bios is set at default i dont overclock my hardware the mhz on the processor was set at 200 and ram was i think at 66 since i would have to shut down to know for sure, i tried checking if the HT had problems with the default setting it was at was at 5x i set it down to 1x didnt make a difference still crashed every 15 mins or so Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 30, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 30, 2005 Please load setup/optimized defaults and then set the Dim Voltage to 2.7X volts (+.2 Volts) and then set the timings to "BY SPD", and then test the module/modules again with www.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure.
