Flak_IMP
What chips are under the TWINX2048-3200c2? Can anyone help me? Cause i ve a DFi LP nf4 Ultra-D and the Samsung chips are doing fine on my board, but die Hynix chips are sucking hard. Yesterday i ve testet a Twinx1024-3200C2 rev 1.5 0522078-1 set with Winbond chips, but i can t use a divider with them. I want to upgrade my ram to 2x1024meg so the TWINX2048-3200C2 are my best choice for now, an i hope there are Samsung TCCC chips on it. Thx for your help
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted June 29, 2005 Corsair Employee Share Posted June 29, 2005 I need to find out all the information that is printed on the sticker that are located on the heat spreader, without this I can not tell which IC's you have on your module! Flak_IMP
That s the problem for now, my dealer has to order these sticks. So my question is what chips are usually are on the Twinx2048-3200C2 sticks. My DFI LP Ultra-D has problems running for example Hynix memory with CPC 2T. So i ve heard that the Samsung TCCC chips running fine one the board,Samsung is selling 512meg sticks with TCCC chips singlesided. So these chips doublesided is 1gb/stick ;) At the momemt i ve 2x512 TCCD, but it s nor nessesary to overclock for me with 2gig of RAm. http://arlt.com/shop/warenkorb.php?subm=get_it&wg=111&wgname=simm&subwg=65&searchwordfff=%22RAM%2C%22%2B%22PC3200%22&artnr=1010240&Arlt_Session=e7afe259200ab1e69d54d3ef608a8cd6
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted June 30, 2005 Corsair Employee Share Posted June 30, 2005 I'm sorry but without that information, lot code to be exact; I am afraid that I can not answer your question properly, since we used different IC chips on the same model and there is no way for us to tell on which specific module you'll be receiving.
