HnyBear.bacon
I just updated and it's showing as version 5.6.96 not 5.6.97. Is this just a typo on someone's behalf or is there another update it's not downloading?
joinscome
iCue Nexus issue I've just done this update since the previous one, where the issue you can see on the screenshot appeared (v. 5.5.134). I did a clean install. And this issue is not fixed!! 😠 Please tell us what to do, I'm not the only one with this bug.
Devyphar
@joinscome I have the same issue with the Nexus config in iCue. I can't see the screens or rearrange them in the drop down list, or even toggle the buttons to enable/disable them, it's completely broken since version 5.3.102 or later (last time I changed them I think I was on version 5.2 after I updated from iCue 4). I only noticed this after yesterdays 5.6.97 update when some of my sensors were just completely missing on my Nexus display and were no longer detected in iCue at all. The 5.6.97 update no longer detects my GPU temp or fan speed sensors at all (I'm running a push/pull config on a watercooled GPU, but iCue doesn't detect my GPU temp now at all). Also the GPU/CPU load % are competely bugged, iCue was showing GPU 85-100% pinned at idle with nothing but a YouTube video running (task man reporting under 10% usage), CPU was also showing 60-75% usage in iCue while idle (task man reporting less than 5% usage). This version should have never been pushed out. I was told by customer service to download the installer from the website, which they claimed would install version 5.5, but it downloaded the latest broken 5.6.97(6) modules. The installer just grabs the latest files from Corsair servers, it's not a complete install package when you download it anymore. I did a full uninstall, folder/registry cleanup, reinstall, and nothing changed. I ended up spending my evening yesterday reloading a system image backup of my WIndows install cause CS stated they had no access to previous iCue versions to roll me back and to just wait for tech support to email me (which they haven't yet). Luckily my backup was only a few weeks old so I didn't have too many Windows or driver updates to get everything back to where it was. Corsair needs to provide a repo of older firmware/drivers/software/etc. on their website and/or a rolback option within iCue so that users can recover when needed (even customer service claims they have no access to older versions, only what is publicly available on the Corsair website). This has been an ongoing issue for many years and yet they keep pushing out untested updates that have major functionality breaking bugs wihtout providing a rollback option.

Sinkhole
On 9/12/2023 at 7:18 AM, TumK0 said: The video card temperature disappeared asus rx5700xt rog I am running an XFX RX 5700XT RAW II and am experiencing the same issue. ICUE now only reports Load and Memory Load. Previously it reported Fan RPM and Temp, but GPU Load was a separate Tab. Obviously ICUE has the capability of reporting all 4 items, but some where along the line the ball got dropped.
Devyphar
@Sinkhole Same here (see my previous comment), GPU temp and fan speed sensors are completely missing. Also check the load reported in iCue against what's reported with task manager or HWInfo. On my system iCue is reporting extremely high usage (75-100%) when the system is idle on both CPU/GPU load, while task man or HWInfo are reporting 5-10% usage.
Jamexman
Way to go to break things. I was able to display my GPU hot spot temps (Radeon 7900XTX) on my H150i LCD XT screen, not anymore, its not even in the pull down options. Please fix!!!
istehwin
I have a 6700xt that runs spicy and I have icue setup with a curve based on my gpu temps. Killgrinder
This new update makes ICUE unusable for me. Discord stays at RTC connecting. The worse part is my computer restarts about every 2 min. Once i remove ICUE everything is Fine. I have AMD CPU and AMD graphics card on windows 11.
Roy Davies
A buggy mess like the previous version.....crashes on start up, unless Corsair are going to start making motherboards and gpu`s they need to make sure there software works with everyone else's and not expect everyone else to fix there issues. So....I removed Msi center and lconnect and installed Icue 5.6 first and it still wont run 👍good job Corsair. Well at least the crash reporter works. cwbuckley
I too have had my computer messed up with this latest icue update. I will admit that it's not as nearly as bad as it has affected some of you. All, it has done to me is mess up my RGB. The only thing that is working like it's supposed to is my Corsair keyboard. The icue software doesn't recognize my fans and all the other stuff inside the case. Hopefully, Corsair will send out an update that will correct this problem. Don't these people test these updates before they send them out?
myfan87
iCUE v.5.6.96 is installed iCUE still says that my K95 RGB Platinum is not recognized. This was fixed in a new version according to the changelog But unfortunately I can't find this in any changelog today. Was it deleted again and the error still exists? sorry corsair but with V5 iCUE has become so shitty
BulletMagnet187
I'm having a few issues with this update. I have to manually launch icue after startup, can not download the plug-ins, update category is blank and cannot uninstall/repair the app. That's just what I've noticed in the 10ish minutes I had to try to deal with it. In the past I've just reinstalled the app and it ran fine when there was issues. Edited September 15 by BulletMagnet187 Forgot content
