What the max. lenght of RTX 4090 fitting in my 4000D Airflow with a front mounted Arctic LF II 360mm

I know the max. gpu size is 360mm. However, I am trying to understand my limit for a RTX 4090 air cooled version. Since the FE is not available in my area these are my options:

(my preference atm is Gainward Phantom GS with 329mm length)

This is what it looks like inside my 4000D right now:

With 5mm clearance to the AIO the yellow line is at 328mm and the green one >330mm. Is the yellow line where the gpu will "start"?

Optionally, a vertical mount would fit a 330mm RTX 4090?

The max GPU length includes a set of 25mm fans up front, so you then need to subtract the radiator thickness to get the actual GPU clearance with a front mount AIO. Most are ~30mm thick, but this will be close so double check with the AIO manufacturer.

The radiotor is 38mm + 25mm fan = 63mm

Does that mean: 360mm - 38mm = 322mm?

Just now, Corsair GregX said:

You can install GPU up to 329mm in length. For your AIO, I believe radiator is 38mm and fan is 25mm.

Thats great news. The Gainward Phantom is 329mm. I guess it will touch the radiator then? If yes, is that ok?

No, it will not fit if the radiator is 38mm.  It's 7mm too long.  Touching it not OK and you are past that anyway.

Then the 4000D specifications page is not accurate?  360+25 would be 385mm. It seems like you’d be hoping your GPU is not wide enough to touch the exterior frame of the radiator and require a vertical mount to allow the GPU to stay with the radiator center where the fins are recessed by a few millimeters.

Either way, I’d use caution.  Many vendors have gone to a “no return” policy on GPUs. You may get forced into a new case if this doesn’t work as you expect.
