Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted December 4, 2003 Corsair Employee Share Posted December 4, 2003 Please try setting the timings manually to: CPU Freq: 166MHz Memory Freq: 100% Resulting Frequency: 166MHz SDRAM CAS Latency: 2T SDRAM RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 3T SDRAM Row Precharge (tRP): 2T SDRAM Active to Precharge Delay (tRAS): 5T And I would set the Dimm Voltage to 2.7 Volts as well. Then please test the system with www.memtest86.com
iggysantos
thanks very much for the help, it did wonders. now, another question. basically the same setup, same motherboard and processor. the ram is slightly different. instead of the 3200c2pt, it is the twinx512-3200LLPT. this will not be overclocked, just at given frequency. would this use the same settings?? help is greatly appreciated. Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted February 18, 2004 Corsair Employee Share Posted February 18, 2004 Yes, or with XMS3200LL you can just leave the timings to By SPD and it should set them the same.
