kodixi
Hello, I have recently purchased the corsair HS65 headset, it arrived a couple of days ago but I only got around to using it today. Sound is great, the mic is clear, however when on discord with my friend they could hear anything that was playing through my mic, the mic needs to be pretty close to my mouth for them to hear me and I had to turn the input volume to around 80-100 but whenever I am watching a video or playing a game with them etc they can hear the sounds, I have tried countless different settings and input volumes so that they wouldnt be able to hear it but could still hear me, however nothing has worked If anyone has any idea of a work around or any possible way I could fix this I would be very pleased as I don't wish to go through the trouble of returning a product that seems to be great other than this one issue. kodixi
Update Tested some more and figured out that even while the volume wheel is all the way down, and the headset mic is muted it will still pick up audio playing on the computer and play it through my microphone, I cant figure out a workaround for this but it is very frustrating because I have never had an issue like this before with previous headsets I have owned. If someone can get back to me asap with a workaround that would be much appreciated
kodixi
3 months later and no reply, also my request for a replacement or refund through corsair support seemed to have just been entirely ignored after I went through every single troubleshooting method an employee gave me, nothing worked, the headset still does this on another computer. Seriously would like help as I spent 75 euro on a pair of headphones that do not work as intended at all. If anyone could get back to me I would be very appreciative, as my old headset (the one I bought the HS65s to replace) is now falling apart. It is literally held together by rubber bands and tape Edited November 22, 2023 by kodixi

It looks like the last response on your ticket was support asking for more information on August 17th. I'd suggest creating a new ticket and referring to the old one and attach the information they were asking for.
moguy1973
I am having this same issue. Did you ever get resolution with it? Or is it a problem with the headphones I bought?
