Dake
Need RMA for bad stick. Asus A7N8X delux rev 1.xx. Installed 512 x 2 into slots 2/3, already had 512 in slot 1 working fine for last year or so. Everything seemed fine for a month or two(after bios upgrade 1.09). Turn system on the other day and memory error at boot - no access to bios or anything else. Swaped out sticks until I got system up and ran memtest on those sticks - every thing check out fine - swaped in 1 stick that was suspect and no boot. Anyway thanks for any feedback
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 28, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 28, 2005 Please set the Dim Voltage to 2.7X volts and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have, (Except if you dont have a 200 FSB CPU please set the memory Frequency at 100%) and then test the module/modules again with wwww.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure. .
