kmtv
Swapped some RAM (all Corsair) from one working PC to another. After the swap, one of the machines failed to post and upon inspection, I could see that one of the gold printed circuit traces had come off of the edge connector on a 256MB module that was originally part of a TWINX512-4000 set. We swap modules, PCI cards, CPUs, etc. at our location 9 hours a day, 6 days per week and this is the first time I can recall ever experiencing such a failure. I honestly don't feel like there was any undue pressure or mishandling on my part and that the connection was simply weak. This was the first time the module had been handled since it was originally installed in an Abit AI7 back in 2/2005. Regardless, I understand that this is a judgement call in terms of warranty. I either need to send it back for repair/replacement or toss it and move on. Either way, your products have always performed well for us and we will continue to use them in the future. Thank you for your consideration in this matter. Todd Handley Katy-Memorial TV and Electronics
