Memory Problems in Germany

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

my english is not really good, but i'll try to explain my Problem.

6 Months ago i bought the TwinX Set 1 GB 3200LL.

Now 6 weeks ago it was broken and i took it back to my local Hardware Shop.

It took 6 weeks, and yesterday he calls me and said i've got some new RAM for you.

He gave me the TwinX Set 1 GB 3200C2PRO, and said he's not able to get me the 3200LL.

Is the 3200C2PRO really same quality or better as the Guarantee that Corsair gives said??

Or do they cheat me?

The two main differences are:

Timings, C2PRO=2-3-3-6 and the LL"S=2-3-2-6.

And the Heat Spreader.

The PRO Module has the LED lights.

I really could'nt say that you were cheated, the RAM is the same quality

and carries the same warranty.

They may be a slight price difference, other than that keep it.

The price for the 3200LL here in Germany is 280 €,and for the 3200C2PRO only 160 €. The Price difference is 120 €.

Thats a little bit strange so i thought it might be not the same quality.

In Fact the Latency is a little bit higher.

Other opinions or a statement from Corsair would be great.

Well the LL's are higher than the C2PRO's in the US also. By quite a bit.

Well bottom line is if you want the LL's take the C2's back to the shop.

I'd have them get the LL's in stock first before you did though.

6 weeks is a long time to wait.

Would've been quicker to ship them to Corsair in California.

Well i must say i was a little bit pissed too.

In that time i can swim through the Atlantic and bring the RAM personal to Corsair.

Corsair ist one of the most expensive Brands.

And then such a time to wait, is a shame.

But i'll still need to know if the C2PRO is the same or better "quality" than the 3200LL.

Can the RAM GUY help?

Cost wise the XMS3200C2Pro would be few dollars more and our Pro modules are tested at a higher spec so they may actually run better. But that is your choice. You might talk to them and see what your options are.
