NewUser002
Hi, I have a bit of confusion about which premium cables are compatible to use with the Corsair RMx 850w PSU and my Mobo and GPU. (As listed on Gigabyte's site) Mobo: Gigabyte B550 AORUS PRO V2 1 x 24-pin ATX main power connector 1 x 8-pin ATX 12V power connector GPU: Gigabyte 3070 Ti GAMING OC 8G Power Connectors: 8 pin*2 I'm looking at this cable starter kit: CORSAIR Premium Individually Sleeved PSU Cables Starter Kit It appears to be the correct cables to use, but one of the answers in the Q&A has caused me some confusion. I don't believe my GPU uses a 12-pin connector, but that answer seems to suggest that the RTX 3000 Series do. I also believe these are the correct power cables for the Mobo, but just wanted to make sure. Any clarification on this would be appreciated. Thanks. Solution LeDoyen Posted May 5 Solution Share Posted May 5 it's a type 4 psu so the kit will fit. As for the 12 pin connector it was only on the FE models, direct from Nvidia, that some had the 12 pin connector. but the vast majority of 3000 series use the old PCIE connector.
