smgilley
I purchased some corsair memory back in November 2003. It was TWINX1024-3200LL. I can't find this memory now. I am interested in the TWINX1024-3200C2PT and TWINX1024-3200C2 because of their great price. I have an Abit IC7-G motherboard. With 2 512 slots filled with the 3200LL and 2 slots open. I want to fill the other 2 slots but don’t know which Corsair memory would be most compatible with my previous corsair memory. Would the 3200C2PT or 3200C2 memory be good to go with my 3200LL, or would you suggest something else?
Yellowbeard
It is usually a BAD idea to try to mix RAM types or revisions. If you do attempt to find more RAM, you'll need to not only get PC3200LL but, you'll need to get the EXACT same revision or the system may not boot. And, the IC-7 series MOBOs had RAM voltage problems so, running 4 DIMMs may not be a good idea. If you need 2gb of RAM a TwinX2048mb kit might be the best option. Mike. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 24, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 24, 2005 I would agree with Mike  And I would suggest you find another use for the modules you have now and just get a Twinx2048-3200C2 set of modules for best performance.
