iCUE Nexus stuttering in some games

Hello everyone,

As the title states, I run into the issues that in some game titles my ICUE Nexus display attached to my Corsair K100 RGB is stuttering.
What happens is that the display has a low FPS and animations and swiping through different screen goes slowly

This problem happens so far only on same games for example Fortnite while playing when friends on Discord.
When this is happening I do have Discord open on my second screen to see voice activity and do the occasional chatting in text, in most case I also do have Spotify running in the background.

So far as I can see other games ore not affected by this.

My specs:

CPU: Intel i9-12900K w/ ASUS optimzed settings (CPU stable undervolted adaptive w/ -0,65mv)
RAM: Corsair Dominator Platnium 32 GB DDR5 @ 6200mhz
GPU: EVGA RTX 2060 Super XC Gaming
Storage: 1x Samsung 500 GB m.2 SSD , 2x Samsung 2TB m.2 SSD, 3x HDD (which 2 are old ones, new 8TB drive need to replaced)
CPU AIO cooler: Corsair H170i  Elite LCD (420mm Radiator)
PSU: Corsair HXi 1000W
Case: Corsair 7000X

So if anyone also experience these issues, what can I do to prevent the ICUE Nexus from stuttering?

If needed I can give more proof or a video when it happens again.

Update on the matter:

Strangely enough today I had no issues with my iCue Nexus stuttering or low FPS while playing Fortnite with friends on Discord.

Must add to this that I did alt+tab a lot before playing Fortnite, not sure if this effects performance to the iCUE Nexus.

Will update tis this post when it happens again.

Issue is still persisting within games like Fortnite, might have something to do with the K100 firmware issues.

Anyone with some idea's, what can be done to remedy this issue?

It’s not something I’ve seen reported before.  CUE uses gpu resources to on both the main program and presumably the Nexus to animate UI and effects.  If you have two monitors and multiple apps + game open it may create a fight over gpu allocation. However, it might be prudent to approach it from the usb end especially if it is selective about when this occurs. 
 

Try a direct connection to the back of the motherboard rather than the K100. That’s one way to rule out the KB. It may not resolve it, but it could be a general usb traffic issue and not bandwidth through the usb cable on the K100. Does this ever happen when Discord is not open?

For example: while playing Fortnite w/ using the in-game VC, the Nexus stuttering is not occurring.
But once I use the Discord VC chat function in the background, the iCUE Nexus starts to stutter.

Also I don't think it the USB issue, because I use the Keyboard USB pass through and the Keyboard + passthrough which are connected on the motherboard directly.

Polling Rate on my K100 RGB is 1000hz / 1ms, so that's nothing special aswell.

Furthermore, Most of my games are not affected by this, so far I only noticed Fortnite with Discord VC where it does lag, also I don't use the Discord Overlay, because of a second display.
