Advazion
Hello, I've got a shuttle pc that came installed with 2 module of corsair CMX512-3200C2. It has started failing to boot intermittently so I've tested woth sticks with latest version of PcCheck. One stick is failing the microtopology and block rotation tests. I've removed this stick and this is solving the boot problem. Any other idea's or can I send this back for a warranty swapout? The memory still has the corsair stickers on them including the warranty void if removed tag. Thanks, -=< Advazion >=-
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 23, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 23, 2005 Please set the Dim Voltage to 2.7X volts and then set the timings manually to the tested settings for the specific module you have, and then test the module/modules again with wwww.memtest.org! If you still get errors, please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure. .
