how to toggle lights on multiple keys

First time on the forum, not sure this question belongs here:

I have a K57 and I'm trying to set the G keys to do something specific with lighting. All the G keys are static red by default. When a Gx is pressed, that key turns green. When Gy is pressed that key turns green, and Gx goes back to red. Such that, the key that is pressed lights up green, and the rest stay red

I've tried doing a custom lighting effect that starts on key press and ends on key press, but then you need to press twice to get Gy to light green... No good.

Any help would be appreciated

When the issues are occurring after setting the effects as you wish, are you using the keyboard Wireless, or is it plugged in via the USB cable?

I took a run at this twice this week and can’t quite get what you want either. What we need here is a secondary lighting action. I think you need to settle for using a timer on the green effect or the alternate red/green toggle which doesn’t seem to fit the bill. You can do 6 individual lighting effects for each G key if you need different time lengths for each.

I’ll have another go over the weekend and someone else may have a solution.

Wired to the PC, it doesn't let you set custom lighting effects when wireless.

It'd be nice if it would do the custom effects when plugged into power and not just hardwired to the PC/hub though

Having the "active" key flash would be fine, it's trying to get the other keys to turn solid red when the "active" key turns green or starts flashing that's the trick
