cnicog
I got an asus p5wd2 motherboard and 1 gig of corsair ram PC 5400UL. Supposedly it runs at 675 Mhz. When i first installed the ram in my comp it said it was PC2-4300, then i changed the mhz on the bios to 667 MHz and it now says PC2-5300... How can I make it 5400 and get the full performance from my memory? The options in my bios are 400 MHZ 533 MHz 600 Mhz 667 MHz and 800 MHz, but not 675 MHz that I need... how can i solve this? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 21, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 21, 2005 That is a definition made by default and will never show 5400 when using the default settings. I would suggest you look the modules up in XMS Qualifications and Testing to get the tested settings.
