Cakezilla
Hello everyone, Thanks in advance for your attention to my problem. I am having a problem with the AiO iCUE H100i RGB ELITE that I installed last weekend. I followed the video instructions provided by Corsair on their YouTube channel, so I think the connections are good. However, one of the two fans does not take into account the fan speed variations. Whatever mode you choose in iCUE (zero rpm, silent, balanced or extreme), the fan speed does not vary and remains at max (~1800 rpm). The second, on the other hand, takes into account the change of mode and the Zero RPM mode. If both fans are in Zero RPM mode, only one will run at 0 RPM while the other runs at full speed. During installation, I had chosen to connect the 3-pin to the motherboard's AIO_PUMP because it was easier to access, but I had a BIOS error at startup and Corsair recommends connecting to CPU_FAN, so I re-connected and put it on CPU_FAN. Is it possible that my error is coming from the port or from somewhere else? I don't think it's defective, I think it's more of a setting or bad connection, let me know. Thank you very much in advance for your feedback.
