ECSGuy
Hey guys, I have unchecked all of the the Disable XXX (for the Windows key) on the keyboard I am using (K95 RGB Platinum XT) as I understand this is a hardware change on the keyboard itself. I used to be able to quit the software (it causes performance issues with certain development apps that I need to run). Is this just a bug from version iCue version v 4.33.138? Let me know how to fix this. Thank you!
Corsair Employee Solution Corsair Notepad Posted February 13, 2023 Corsair Employee Solution Share Posted February 13, 2023 What keyboard? Have you copied the onboard hardware profiles on your keyboard to iCUE and checked in the Hardware Assignments section to make sure that you didn't inadvertently set a hardware macro to the Windows key? Have you made sure that the WinLock key is not activated? The toggles in iCUE are only for when iCUE is actively running, and they do not affect the operation when iCUE is not running. ECSGuy
Hey, The keyboard is K95 RGB Platinum XT. Could you walk me through those steps you are talking about? I haven't touched the configuration/profiles but who knows.
ECSGuy
Hello, This seems to happen only when I don't see a greyed out icon for the iCue software (it looks like it's a server process or something). I'll try the recommendations you have above. I don't think there is much else you can do. I'm not sure if you have any kind of feedback system or ticket system but I would like to send something about the performance of the driver and software. It really is eating up a lot of I/O and CPU time. Thank you!
