SkullWolf
Good morning, I have had my corsair H150i for 2 years, I reported that an original fan was faulty, I contacted customer service who told me that they did not have the part. And they forgot me. Today is the pump. She is very very noisy. Even in silence. I looked in "%appdata% Corsair / Icue / Cooling / Configuration, in balanced, I'm at 40%. (While corsair recommends 50% there.) An idea ? Thanks in advance ! Edited February 11 by SkullWolf
c-attack
If the pump is suddenly noisy, contact Corsair Support. There is no user side fix for that unless it’s micro bubbles. You sometimes will get erratic popping like sounds after moving the case around as the little air bubbles are forced through the cooling fins. Temporarily tilt the case so the inlet/outlet tubes are higher than the block and the bubbles should run toward the radiator and the noise will stop. However, if you haven’t moved the case or AIO this is likely mechanical and there isn’t much you can do. Don’t live with it. Follow up with support. SkullWolf
My radiator is at the top of the box, I'm going to disassemble the watercooling to play with the pipes and expel the air, see if it works.
c-attack
Then all you need to do for an air bubble check is lift up the front end of the case. That will eliminate or alter the sound. Air bubble noise is erratic. if you hear a consistent, constant noise it is going to be electro-mechanical.
SkullWolf
Okay, I have to get it up with the computer running? Because my watercooling is on top, so the air should still rise without doing that.. Also, it's the noise of the pump that I hear.. What is the best direction/placement for the fans?
c-attack
Just lift the front end a few inches while running. It doesn’t need to be dramatic and the slight tilt will help the bubbles go up and out. However, I doubt this is a bubble issue and suggest you contact Corsair Support.
