Corsair void elite static noise

Recommended Posts

So i got these corsair void elite usb headphones yesterday and after just about 3-4 hours a static noise occurred in my headphones. Everytime a sound is playing i keep hearing this noise. I tried switching the usb ports, reinstalling the headphones driver and even resetting the headset. Does anybody have this problem also? If yes hope you got a solution.

Hi, I made an account just to share with you the solution I found after searching around for about a week.
Basically, after some tests, the problem causing that static noise is iCue itself.

I fixed it by going in the device manager, under "Human Interface Device (HID)" right click on "corsair virtual input device" and uninstall it (make sure to check the box when it asks you to uninstall the drivers too) and same in the "Sound, video and game controllers" right click on "CORSAIR VOID ELITE Wireless Gaming Headset" and uninstall it (same for the drivers as before)

The only problem about this fix is that the equalizer and 7.1 settings won't work, for the equalizer I decided to download another program.
I'm kinda upset that I don't get to use 7.1 for this fix, but the static noise is way too annoying 😕

In case you find an alternative fix, could you let me know in a reply please? 🙂

I ended up returning the headset, that static noise is WAY too annoying, and the fact that this issue persists since years and they didn't fix it shows how much they don't care about it.
