Yannou Posted February 9, 2023 Posted February 9, 2023 Hello, I have a brand new computer with a H150I Elite. However one particular fan is always functionning around 1850 rpm (instead of 300-500rpm for the other 2 fans). I say one particular fan since I change connections in order to identify it. The fan doesn't respond to characteristics given with iCUE (constant 600 rpm for example). However it seems to have a temperature feedback since when I increase the speed of the other 2 fans (increasing the cooling power so), the speed of the disfonctioning fan decrease. The iCUE application and the driver of the H150I are up to date. Is there any way to solve this problem or can I exchange the product (bought with amazon) ?
Yannou Posted February 9, 2023 Author Posted February 9, 2023 It may also be possible that the problem comes from the cable.

So when you swap it with another fan on the triple connector from the pump, the problem moves with the fan? If so, likely bad fan wire. CUE does not have some sort of complex fan load shifting algorithm like those counter-rotational GPU fan set ups. If it is slowing down as the others increase, it’s likely power related on the controller or somehow related to the defect. You can contact Corsair Support and the likely remedy is a new fan shipped out. However, you can probably get a whole new unit from Amazon much faster, at the cost of having to swap the entire thing out.
Yannou Posted February 23, 2023 Author Posted February 23, 2023 Sorry for not replying early. I changed the whole unit with amazon, thank you for your advices.
