CORSAIR HX1200i - an expensive PSU that sounds like a coffee grinder in under 3 years!

Recommended Posts

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET A RESPONSE FOR A HX1200i PSU - FAN sounds like a COFFEE GRINDER IN UNDER 3 YEARS?

10 YEARS WARRANTY IS A MARKETING SLOGAN?

It's already been a good few days since the issue was raised... there is no support in Europe, and I'm told over the phone (calling from Spain to US) that I should try again in 5 hours.

STOP SENDING surveys and answer the RMA event. HINT: 1200W PSU is probably for professional use!

Do you sell as many HX1200i as you'd sell VS450 PSUs! Seems you quietly withdrawn this PSU from retail...

THis is ridiculous.

I used Corsair in over 100 customer builds.

HX1200i - a 350€ PSU - in a professional workstation - just about how long does it take you to process an RMA and what exactly do you consider to be a reasonable approach to communication and RMA management? Have not heard back from your rep after sending all the documents and video proof!

I reached out to our support team. You should be hearing from someone shortly.

I received instructions to return the unit though we did agree advanced RMA, 8 days before.

Well on Friday I paid the advanced RMA after someone managed to make the change in FIVE minutes, to receive a return label 'in the next few minutes'.

There is no tracking information or return label as of yet, 8am Spanish time 21/02/2023. My card got charged, of course.

Is there something MISSING in my most perfect English when I mention PROFESSIONAL USE?

This isn't bank of mom and dad buying 350€ PSU for gaming rig, to use with headset, it's used as a WORKSTATION and time is of the essence, sounds like coffee grinder when under load.

So... what's the ETA on processing such an instance? It took over 15 days to get here which in itself is NONSENSE!

Simple things have simple solutions!

Sadly it can be easier to deal with the likes of Aliexpress then California based Corsair, I am amazed, NOT in a good way!
